Product Description

Aqua One Nitrate Pad is a tightly woven chemical filter pad which helps to maintain optimum water flow and absorb nitrate (NO3). The Nitrate pad effectively trasp unwanted particles and provides a healthy environment for your aquarium.

Nitrate can cause kidney, liver and eye problems for fish, as well as suppress their appetite and prevent their gills from absorbing oxygen from the water. The use of Nitrate pad can reduce the frequency of water changes.

Aqua One Filter Pads give the user the ability to cut and shape their pads to suit any filtration systems such as hang on filters, canister filters, top filter, internal filters and pond filters. Suitable for freshwater, tropical and coldwater use only. Not for Marine use.

Replace every 4-6 weeks.
