The High Neck FeatherProtector has been designed specifically for pluckers to protect the vulnerable breast, neck and back areas. The heaviest of all three Deluxe models, it features a layer of Kevlar (Yes, the same material used in bullet proof vests!) and a double-knit layer for extra durability. Plus, we’ve also added a leather breast plate for even more chest protection and a soft fleece interior for comfort. Complete with leather-covered Velcro tabs on the neck and under the wings, we are very proud of this Protector and all the referrals we continually get from avian vets. Avian Fashions now offers an additional customization option by adding large upholstery snaps to the Velcro tabs for very determined birds. This product does not have a “poop-pouch,” thus there are no FlightLiners to change and so it can be left on for longer periods of time.
