Product Description

Joy Sprouting Seed is a premium selection of nutritous Australian rown seeds and grains that provie essential vitamins, minerals, enzymes and protein to keep birds in tip top condition.

Directions: 

Soak seeds in luke warm water for 12 hours. Change water once or twice.

Drain into colander, rinse well and cover with plastic on a tea towel until seeds sprout to optimum size - 5mm (approx. 24 hour). During this time, rinse with cold water every 8 hours to encourage sprouting. The spouts should have a nice 'nutty' scent and taste sweet. Discard if 'gluggy' or sour smelling and begin again. Replenish daily as sprouts go off quickly.

Drain well before serving to birds - about 1 tablespoon of seed/sprouts per bird once or twice daily. Sprouts can also be added to fresh fruit ad vegetables such as apples, oranges, spinach, dandylions, etc. Birds should always have access to clean, fresh water.
