Pretty Bird Lory Special is an easy to feed alternative to messy nectar diets which contains fructose. Carbohydrates is balanced with fats and proteins to duplicate dehydrated fruit and pollen that are natural food for Lories. Lories also love fruit which should be offered on a daily basis. 16% protein and 6% fat in mini sized morsels.

Fruits and fructose (natural fruit sugar) are an important part of the daily requirements of some parrots. Pretty Bird utilizes fructose as a natural, healthy and important part of the Species Specific formulas for fruit loving birds like Eclectus, Lories and Softbills. Unlike sucrose, fructose is metabolized by the liver prior to entering the blood stream providing a natural healthy energy source. The slower, more even utilization of fructose helps to maintin stable blood glucose levels resulting in a happier, healthier pet.
