Avian Fashions DIY Poncho Feather Protector Small
Introducing one of the newest in Avian Fashions' line of products to help birds that pick and pluck their feathers. Our DIY Poncho is designed for birds that pluck the tops of their wings or it can be worn in conjunction with one of our FeatherProtectors for overall coverage. We call it the DIY Poncho because every bird is different and you now have the ability to create a solution based on your bird's needs.
For smaller birds (size Small, Medium and Large), the Poncho will have a single layer (due to weight). For larger birds (size Wide through Colossal), the Poncho features a double layer for added protection. The elastic neck cording with bead allows you to easily cinch the neck to prevent your bird from getting underneath. Once you adjust the neck, just tuck the elastic under the cowl neck or flip it to the underside of the Poncho.
NOTE: Birds need at least 3-5 days of conditioning time before wearing a product from Avian Fashions and that birds should be supervised at all times.
