Nekton Breed Star is a supplement developed with all the essential vitamins, minerals, trace elements and amino acids to support healthy bird breeding. Breed Star has a specific ratio of vitamin E and amino acids which is ideal for supporting your birds during the preparation of and during breeding. It supplements the minimum content of vitamin E in feed and ensures the bird has all the nutrients they need during breeding.

Without sufficient levels of vitamin E, the bird can suffer health consequences during the breeding process. Nekton Breed Star has high levels of vitamin E to support the course of the metabolic processes, increase the utilisation of nutrients in feed, strengthen defences and improve breeding performance. 

Amino acids become even more important when breeding, so Nekton Breed Star contains 18 amino acids and high proportions of arginine, lysine, methionine, threonine and tryptophan.

Vitamin E has several functions in animals, but its key function is to protect the cells from oxidative damage - it promotes the protection of cell membranes and the detoxification of pollutants occurring in cell metabolism.

It is also involved in cell respiration and thus plays a very important role in energy metabolism. It has also been shown that vitamin E supplementation improves animal fertility (especially sperm quality in males and egg fertility in females) and increases embryo survival and viability of hatched young.

In addition, vitamin E promotes antibody formation and has a positive effect on the immune status of the organism. Vitamin E deficiency can cause reduced fertility, sex drive and hatching.

Finally, a lack of vitamin E particularly impairs muscle (white muscle disease) and heart functions.

Recommendation:

Disinfect drinking vessels and food containers daily to guarantee hygienic and clean feed!

FEEDING RECOMMENDATION

1 g (= 1 level measuring spoon) NEKTON-Breed-Star to 250 ml water or 100 g soft food.

Administration of NEKTON-Breed-Star should be started at least three weeks before breeding.

As soon as the first egg is laid and the female sits on the eggs, no more NEKTON-Breed-Star is given. It could cause disruption in the incubation process by a drive in the male that is too strong.

After completion of the treatment continue with the daily vitamin supply of NEKTON-S.

Storage: NEKTON-Bio should be stored dry and out of sunlight, between 15° and 25°C. DO NOT STORE IN THE FRIDGE!!!
