Simply top up with extra litter when needed.

Directions for Use:

1. Fill a clean, empty tray to a depth of 4cm (use a tray liner if desired). Position tray in a convenient place for the cat.
2. Vitapet Litter quickly absorbs liquid and clumps flat on the surface so you can easily scoop out the clumps.
3. To maintain litter freshness simply scoop all solid waste and clumps daily from the tray.
4. When liquid is no longer being absorbed quickly, replace the entire tray contents.
5. Dispose of used litter in garbage. Wash tray regularly. Always wash hands after use.

Changing your cat to a new cat litter

Cats are creatures of habit. If your cat has been using the same litter for a long time it can get confused by a new litter and may not understand it is supposed to use this litter for going to the toilet. This happens rarely but if it does, it is an easy fix. Over 4 - 7 day period mix your old litter with the new, starting at a ratio of 75% old to 25% new and increasing the new litter as you take away the soiled litter.
